Benyuan Quantum was established in Hefei on September 11, 2017. Today, OriginQuantum officially released the quantum computing technology roadmap for the next five years.
According to the roadmap, by 2025, the original quantum will break through 1000 qubits and reach 1024 qubits, and quantum computing will be used to try to solve the corresponding problems in different industries and develop a special quantum computer for the industry.

As can be seen from the road map, Benyuan Quantum is expected to launch 64 bit superconducting quantum chip by the end of 2021. The new design layout increases the chip's scalability, and it will try to break through 144 bit in early 2022. By 2025, 1024 qubits will be achieved.
IT Home learned that Zhang Hui, the general manager of Benyuan Quantum, mentioned that the technology of Benyuan Quantum superconducting quantum chip is expected to be divided into three stages. The first stage is to develop a prototype superconducting quantum computer by 2022, which will mainly try to lay a foundation for the development of future dedicated quantum computers in terms of chip fidelity, scalability and other properties. And verify the basic quantum algorithm and prove the quantum advantage; The second stage will break through to 1000 qubits in 2025, which can try to solve special problems in various industries and develop industry-specific machines. In the third stage, when the chip bit number expands to a certain level, multi-core parallel processing is used, and the self-developed quantum computer operating system can realize the full scheduling of quantum resources, which is expected to realize the universal quantum computer.
